NICOLE ROSSEN, M.S., CCC-SLP

So glad you’re here! My mission is to provide effective and joyful speech therapy that improves each child’s communication in a meaningful way. I consider my practice holistic because I am focused on the interaction of the whole system and how the child’s communication is tied to their brain/body/speech connection rather than analysis or separation of those parts. I feel blessed to work with these precious little ones in a fun and effective way. My aim is that they gladly look forward to speech with me as much as I do them!

Nicole is a dynamic professional with over 10 years experience who is passionate about quality speech-language pathology services. Nicole received her B.A. in Speech-Language Pathology and M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University in Waco. Nicole has worked in a variety of settings including clinics, schools, and hospitals.

“We tried other speech therapists in the past but Nicole uses modalities that work and my kid loves her. Truly a one-of-a-kind SLP. Not many out there like her!”

Summer 2022 Mom

Nicole is the honored 2010 recipient of the Texas Speech and Hearing Association Gardner Gateley Award for Clinical Excellence. Those who have observed Nicole’s uniquely designed speech therapy sessions describe it as “amazing.” In addition to her love for her family, church community, and taking daily podcast walks… she loves to teach and speak whenever possible. Nicole has enjoyed speaking as an invited presenter and most recently co-presented a 6-hour continuing education course approved by the Texas Speech and Hearing Association. She is most naturally drawn to remediating the following: severe articulation delays, phonological disorders, language disorders as they relate to pre-literacy skills, and children struggling with fluency/stuttering.

Nicole stands out as an advocate for effective methods and has enjoyed working with wonderful reading specialists, fluency specialists, chiropractors, pediatricians, craniosacral therapists, and dentists specializing in airway evaluation. She is honored to be a contributing member to these professionals and believes a collaborative approach makes great impact. Above all, she loves helping families thrive and the shared bond between the speech therapist, parent, and child… and the undeniable speech progress that comes from working together!
